Mauricio Garrido has more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, with most of his career focused on energy management related activities. In January 2011 he joined EDP Renewables where he currently serves as Director of PPA Origination for Centralized Generation in Europe. In this role, he leads the origination, negotiation, and execution of Power Purchase Agreements and BESS Flexible Purchase Agreements across EDP Renewables’ European markets.
Mauricio holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and earned an MBA from IESE Business School in 2007.
